Manager Estimator

Due toexpansion we are in search of two 2 dynamic team players as aEstimation Managerto spearhead our custom capital projects 1 at our Berks & 1 housed out ofour BucksCounty Manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include custom estimation project coordination implementation and completion of projects on time and on budget while remaining aligned with corporate strategy commitments and organizational objectives.
Duties:
- Estimation of Custom Machinery &Capital Equipment projects.
- Working independently and in tandem with Sales Engineering Manufacturing Vendors Architects Designers Facility Managers Owners General Contractors GCs and Operations.
- Project cycle coordinating all input for bid to the customer preparing detailed project budget and managing of the project to meet contract requirements on time and on budget.
- Help define the project scope and deliverables
- Plan implement manage budget schedule and project timeline
- Take part in daily meeting status updates
- Work crossfunctionally to forecast quote generation manage cost variances
- Allocate project resources as needed
- Forecasting
- Implement process improvements
- Establish accountability and scalability
- Evaluate projects through a grading system and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Eight 8 plus years experience as an estimator with proven leadership experience
- Exposure to Supply chain and ERP systems
- Preferred experience in 3 three of the following areas: Manufacturing Pharma equipment Automated Equipment / Machinery Food Processing Equipment.
- Exposure implementing or sustaining continuous or process improvements
- Proven ability to bring it all together & execute
- Project management qualification (PMP) (CPM) or equivalent years of experience preferred not required.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Prior experience employing PM techniques and tools
- Experience creating implementing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) a plus.
- Experience as a Project Manager and/or Project Coordinator.
- Must have at least 3 three of the following technical Skills: ERP MRP CRM MS Office MS Excel Google docs MS Projects MS Dynamics.
- Superior communication skills (both written and oral) are required
- Ability to push and drive for results
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Able to work within crossfunctional groups
- Knowledge of food processing and packaging equipment.
- Ability to multitask and manage 510 projects in tandem.
