Job Description

Are you a Heavy Diesel Technician whos had exposure to leading hand duties and is ready for a step up Or have you been working as a leading hand for the last few years and now youre ready for a new challenge Well this could be the opportunity you are looking for to join our Emeco crew!

We have multiple opportunities at our site in the Goldfields offering the below perks:

What your day looks like:

  • Lead a team of 10 15 people on day and night shift
  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emecos heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimisethe risk of injury to yourself and others.
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

What well need from you:

  • Must have full working rights within Australia
  • A strong commitment to safety and leadership
  • AMT exposure would be highly advantageous
  • Significant posttrade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar Komatsu and Hitachi
  • Prior leadership experience working on a mine site leading a team of 10 people
  • High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
  • Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers License
  • RecognisedNationalAustralian Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging rigging crane and work platform classifications (desirable)
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a preemployment medical including drug and alcohol screening and provide a current National Police Check.
