About the Position:
About Smiles Zetland is currently searching for a Senior Dental Assistant with implant experience to join our team on a Full Time basis including 2 Saturdays a month.
We are a cozy 2 chair practice focused on general and cosmetic dentistry. We offer a dedicated and supportive team environment. We have a long standing history in the community and provide exceptional customer service and patient care to everyone who walks through the door.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assist with patient management including greeting patients preparing them for procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments assist the dentist during examinations and procedures and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels ensuring the treatment room is wellstocked and organised.
Patient Education: Provide patients with postoperative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists hygienists and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed:
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail
