Job Description
Join our dynamic team of diverse professionals as a Litigation Paralegal at our wellrespected civil litigation law firm inSan Jose CA. Were looking for a dedicated individual with a strong background in litigation support to assist our attorneys in managing complex cases from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation including managing evidence answering interrogatories and preparing motions complaints briefs and other legal documents.
- Conduct client and witness interviews in preparation for hearings depositions and trials.
- Manage ediscovery processes coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to fulfill discovery obligations.
- Utilize Excel and other data management tools to organize and analyze data.
- Provide comprehensive legal support as permitted by the California State Bar.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Paralegal Certificate or a degree in Paralegal Studies. A Bachelors degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABAapproved program is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a paralegal in a civil litigation law firm with handson experience in ESI Discovery and proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication analytical and writing skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; exceptional attention to detail; familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and Excel databases.
