Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the of procurement and supply chain strategies focusing on specific departmental targets.
Handle routine procurement tasks including purchase order processing vendor communications and contract compliance.
Work closely with the procurement team providing support and contributing to their development.
Participate in the analysis of supply chain processes identifying potential areas for improvement.
Support the alignment of procurement activities with broader organizational goals.
Assist in managing departmental budgets ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting procurement and supply chain practices.
Contribute to the tracking of departmental KPIs and provide regular updates on progress and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 6 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role in procurement and supply chai
Proven experience in supply chain management.
Proficiencies in vendor management cost control and procurement strategies
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
