Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Position:Nurse Extern
- Job Type:PRN
- Location:Community Hospital (ONSITE ONLY)
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks that are routine repetitive and require no nursing judgement.
- Basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN) including but not limited to monitoring vital signs taking blood glucose measurements and recording intake and output.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing grooming and eating.
- Assist with transportation of patients.
- Watching patients at Fall Risk in their room.
- Specimen collection and supplies.
- Clean and stock the department and patient rooms.
- Participate as an active member of the health care team and positively promotes the rest of the team to patients/families/caregivers and other colleagues.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a formal Board of Nursing approved undergraduate academic Nursing Program leading to a degree in nursing.
- Completion of at least three 3 semesters of Nursing School and in Good Academic Standing.
- Must be in last semester of school.
- Current BLS Certification required
- Able to work 24 hours per month while in school
Compensation:
- $19.00 $26.60 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses relocation expenses merit increase market adjustments recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction CO 81505
- Work Location: Inperson/onsite
