Recreational Activities Officer Residential Aged Care

We are seeking a full time Recreational Activities Officer to join our busy Lifestyle Team reporting to the Diversional Therapist. You will provide quality personcentred care that is aimed at maintaining quality of life for our residents and by providing support to their family/carers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Full time permanent role Monday Friday.
Preparing and implementing individualised lifestyle programs across a range of care needs
Contribution to the emotional wellbeing of residents by responding to and understanding their needs with empathy
Interaction with our residents in a cheerful and compassionate manner
Ensuring the highest level of procedureled care standards are upheld
Opportunities to work additional shifts
Working within a supportive and dedicated team workplace culture and working environment

Ashfield Baptist Homes is a 136 bed notforprofit residential aged care home in Ashfield Sydney. We welcome residents and staff from all faiths and cultures. Our care home is affiliated with Ashfield Baptist Church and we have a rich local history spanning more than seventy years.
