Job Description

This intern will support development for our Distributed Intelligence team by developing software testing tools across a global team. You will learn directly from counterparts at Itrons headquarters and overseas teammates.
Duration
Minimum 20 hours/wk during the academic year 40 hours/wk in summer. Internship to begin Spring 2025.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Integrate with a fastmoving cloud software development team
Support the development of software testing tools
Complete test automation and
Work with the Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework development process
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders utilizing professional workplace communication
Required Skill & Experience
Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of collegelevel coursework (preference for Computer Science)
Academic professional volunteer or related experience in software development
Understanding of Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework development process
Knowledge of cloud development
Exposure to C# and .NET
Professional workplace communication skills

Powershell REST
Azure Infrastructure including VMs Networking Security Databases Queuing
Microservice hosting (i.e. Kubernetes ServiceFabric and Docker)

Physical Demands
This is a typical office job with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
This position will be tied to our Liberty Lake WA location with hybrid work flexibility of 13 days onsite per week.
Liberty Lake WA: $15.87 $44.23 per hour
