Department of Counseling Psychology
The Department of Counseling Psychology offers a Master of Arts (M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology accredited by the Masters in Counseling Psychology Accreditation Council (MPCAC). The program follows a scientistpractitioner approach training graduate students in foundational principles of psychology and counseling while emphasizing social justice as an integral part of their clinical and academic preparation.
Position Summary:
Our Downtown Chicago campus has an opening for a Program Faculty member (Assistant or Associate level) in the Counseling Psychology Department. Over the course of the threesemester academic year Counseling Psychology faculty members may be responsible for teaching student advisement research/scholarship professional service to the university college profession and community. While program faculty members are fundamentally responsible for teaching in accordance with TCSs workload policy adjustments to an individuals teaching load may be made by the Department Chair based on program needs first and individual talents and abilities second. Program Faculty members are recommended to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for hire by the Counseling Psychology Department Chair.
