Job Description
MTM Transit in partnership with CapMetro is looking for Full Time drivers to join our team in Austin Texas. We currently have training classes that start every Monday no need to wait to start your new career!

What we require:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess a continuously valid US drivers license for 3 years
- Must possess a valid Texas drivers license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- No DWI/DUI charges
- No suspensions moving violations or citations within the last 3 years
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and preemployment drug/alcohol screening
- Must pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Must pass criminal background check investigation
- Valid authorization to work in the United States
- Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history
What will your job look like
- Provide safe and reliable transportation
- Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle
- Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols
- Ensure the ontime pickup and drop off of the customer
- Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Complete thorough vehicle pretrip posttrip and DVI inspections as required
- Complete paperwork as required
- Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
Pay Rate: $21.22 per hour
