Job Description
Junior Software Development Engineer
Hybrid in Orem Utah
Responsibilities
- Contributes to development and implementation for our existing Web and API applications.
- Translate stories into design & code. Develop wellengineered code and test artifacts backed by automated tests.
- Research and adopt contemporary software development techniques to ensure quality and improve velocity of the team.
- Deploy code into development test and production environments on schedule and provide followup production support. Submit change control requests and documentation as needed.
- Follow Agile software development methodology. Follow architecture standards and best practices.
- Participate in peer design reviews code reviews and test inspections throughout the software life cycle.
- Collaborate in building and maintaining an inclusive highly cooperative and outcomeoriented team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in software engineering or a related field and/or equivalent training and experience.
- Has experience with software engineering fundamentals including Agile methodologies function and objectoriented design data structures and writing testable code.
- Highly collaborative a fast learner and willing to work wherever youre needed on the team.
- Able to effectively communicate technical issues in a manner all can understand.
- Able to work with Product Managers to prioritize work relative to both delivering business value and addressing technical debt.
- Preferred: 1 years of programming experience or masters degree (software engineering or related field)

- AWS (Preferred experience with AWS Lambda & DynamoDB)
- Terraform and/or Serverless Framework experience is a big plus
- MySQL NoSQL databases
