Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced dual Family/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary team specializing in bone and soft tissue sarcomas and melanomas. This role is ideal for a NP or PA with solid tumor experience and a minimum of 2 years in Medical Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inpatient admissions of adult sarcoma patients for chemotherapy.
  • Maintain an outpatient clinic schedule supporting one physicians Sarcoma and Melanoma practice.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Potential opportunity to work with the melanoma TILS program.

During the OnDemand interview a question will appear on your screen and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to rerecord your answer to each question Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.



Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Oncology specifically with solid tumors.

Dual Family/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner: Mastersprepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP and ACNP.

Physician Assistant:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the State AZ State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:

Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required

  • Experience with clinical trial protocols is preferred.
  • Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
