The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join our team in Portsmouth NH/Hybrid or Remote in the U.S. if located on EST and CST Time Zones.
The primary responsibilities include preparing daily/monthly bank reconciliations maintaining spreadsheets preparing journal entries monitoring bank activities and correcting reconciliations. You should demonstrate accounting expertise independent decisionmaking the ability to work under pressure analytical skills and a sense of urgency.
This dynamic person will work with our bank partners external Clients and internal business associates to leverage all resources required to effectively and efficiently complete payment reconciliation and processing on time.
This role may also require you to learn and support other areas of the Operations team. Daily tasks may also include working on ACH returns check stop payments payment monitoring inbox management and client reporting.
How youll contribute:
- Develop a deep understanding of Paymode payment processing funding methods Client trends and business needs
- Prioritize your daily tasks and use your expert organization skills at every opportunity to ensure Client delight and accuracy
- Research resolve and reconcile all paymentrelated issues in a swift and timely manner
- Collaborate with team members on innovation process improvements and problemsolving
- Utilize your sense of urgency during critical processing to ensure payments are delivered on time every time
- Analyze and assess bank accounts and reconciliation while providing succinct and clear communication internally and externally

- 23 years of professional experience in a Reconciliation role
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel (Filters Formulas VLookUps etc.
- Propensity for team collaboration and positive attitude in the face of urgent critical tasks
- Excited to analyze situations gain diverse skills enhance work output and engage in robust problemsolving with teammates
- Highly detailoriented organized and able to make decisions with a sense of urgencybased on known deadlines and Client Delight
- Strong communication (verbal/written) and customer service skills
- Ability to perform selfguided research using a variety of internal tools phone and email
- Identify improve and follow existing policies and procedures while consistently applying them in daily duties
- Ready and willing to adapt to positive change in a dynamic growing environment
- Ensure that all processes meet prescribed mandates for integrity compliance and audit
