GAI Consultants Inc is seeking an EIT Engineer in Training to work out of our Homestead Cranberry or Southpointe PA office. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging fastpaced and teamoriented environment that will utilize their college education and related work experience to develop professionally into a wellrounded engineer with the ability to grow in todays global environment.
Job Duties:
- Assist in water/wastewater process and pipeline design projects for industrial and municipal clients.
- Assist in Civil Engineering design and calculations for water wastewater and stormwater components of Land Development projects.
- Participates in technical studies product design preparation of specifications and technical plans.
- Filling out and completing permit applications for processing.
- Field work may include water sampling site inspection and construction administration support including completing field observation reports.
- Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.

- Possesses foundational engineering concepts through undergraduatelevel education.
- Acquiresbasic knowledge and develops basic skills through mentored experience.
- Applies learned knowledge and skills to perform assigned tasks.
- Performs routine technical work which does not requirepreviousexperience.

Certification/Licensure
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained engineerintraining (EIT) or engineeringintern (EI) certification.
Technical Responsibilities
- Collects data and gathers information or documents.
- Participates in laboratory testing and field investigations.
- Performs basic computations or analysis.
- Assists with preparation of engineering deliverables.
- Observes construction activities.
Project and Task Management
- Responsible for personal task management and adherence to deadlines and scope.
- No managerial responsibilities at this level.
Management Responsibility
- Receives close supervision onallaspects of assignments.
- Receives mentorship from a licensed engineer.
Communication Skills
- Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.Identifiesand acknowledges principles of teamwork and leadership.
- Interacts primarily with internal project team members.
