Job Description
Freedom TechnologySolutions Group is seekingTestEngineerswith various levels of experience(JuniorSeniorand SME LevelsprovidingSponsorsupport. Ideal candidateswill be a selfmotivated independent worker who can also work in and contribute to a team environmentsupporting system and/or application testingin varying stages of deployment(from emerging technologies to legacy systems).As the technology stack expands and grows testers may be required to work with developers to support performance/load testing to fully evaluate the application capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute manual testing procedures to identify defects validate functionality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and increase test coverage
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality
- Analyze test resultsprovide clear and concise reports on testing progress defects and overall product quality
- Work closely with developers to isolate reproduce and debug issues found during testing
- Continuously improve testing strategies tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field
- 3 20years ofrelatedprofessional experience
- Software testingexperience
- Understanding of software testing principles methodologies and best practices
- Evaluate developer assignments understand requirements and engineer tests to evaluate best path scenario as well as probe for possible failure conditions
- Writingand executingtest plans cases procedures scripts and scenarios
- Familiarity with version control systemsGit
- Maintainingand updatingtest environments
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in software testing(ISTQB Certified Tester)
- Knowledge of testing technologies(Selenium WebDriverKatalonStudio and Cucumber)
- Knowledge oftestingframeworks(Junit Mockito Swagger PostmanSelenium Cypress JMeterandWin App
- Knowledge ofSource code management and integration(GitHub/GitLabandJenkins)
- Knowledge of testing tools(JenkinsandGit CI/CD)
- Programming/scripting languages(HTMLJava NodeandJavaScript)
- IDE to code(IntelliJ EclipseandNetBeans)
- Cloud platforms(AWSandAzure)
- Interacting in a Linux environment(Bash scriptingandVI)
- Agile methodologies and tools(Jira and Confluence)
