Director of Media Position Status: Fulltime Classification: SalaryExempt
SUMMARY The Director of Media is responsible for the overall creative direction and visual identity of Victory ensuring alignment with the churchs mission and vision. This role leads the graphics video photography and communications teams to produce compelling content that enhances Victorys brand across digital and traditional media platforms. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with strong creative expertise organizational skills and a passion for impactful storytelling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide creative direction to maintain and enhance Victorys brand ensuring consistency across all media.
- Oversee the graphics team ensuring highquality visual content for church services events and ministries.
- Guide the communications team on messaging strategy across text email app and web to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Manage Victorys digital presence including website design SEO and social media (Instagram Facebook TikTok Twitter YouTube).
- Lead the video team in producing and editing highquality content for services events and digital platforms.
- Direct the photography team to capture highquality images for various Victory ministries and entities.
- Collaborate with the TV team and executive leadership to secure airtime and develop programming based on pastors sermons.
- Lead weekly creative meetings set priorities with the project manager and ensure projects are completed on time.
- Manage the media budget approve purchasing orders and coordinate advertising across billboards radio TV and social media.
- Work closely with executive leadership service teams and ministries to align creative content with Victorys mission and vision.
- Brainstorm and present new creative ideas to drive engagement and expand Victorys reach.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: - Minimum 23 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven experience across multiple creative disciplines including graphic design video production and photography.
- Strong organizational skills to manage budgets timecards projects and timelines.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Preferred: - Experience in web design and mobile applications.
- Background in TV production.
- Experience in marketing and advertising strategies.
Work Schedule & Expectations: This role requires weekend work and afterhours communication as needed to support church services and events.
