How you will help
In your role as Data Product Designer at HealthVerity you will support our data design strategy fully realizing the potential of our data assets with products that address the immediate and future business objectives of our clients. Your designs will create compelling products that simplify complex data and engage our clients across the healthcare data domain. You will iterate upon the user experience with client feedback using the principles of rapid prototyping thus driving HealthVerity forward.
Your role involves more than just internal communication; you will forge connections with our clients understanding their core needs and integrating their insights into our product design and development process. Because you are a subject matter expert on healthcare data assets you easily identify creative solutions that uniquely meet the needs of our clients. This customerfirst approach will ensure our products are not just innovative but also highly relevant and impactful.
What you will do:
- Product Design: Leverage deep data expertise to lead the design via iterative rapid prototyping of new data offerings that meet unexpressed needs across multiple data product areas.
- Innovation: Bring design to the forefront with innovative data products for the healthcare sector capitalizing on HealthVeritys unique leadership in the healthcare data marketplace.
- Engagement: Collaborate closely with enterprise clients to understand their unique challenges around how they interact with our data and products and integrate their feedback into the product design life cycle ensuring our solutions meet and exceed market demands.
- Product Advocacy: Represent and advocate for HealthVeritys product strategy in customer interactions and other external engagements enhancing market presence and product visibility.
- Culture and Team Development: Support our culture of accountability and excellence within the product team design and execute your own journey of professional growth.
About you:
- Proven experience in a data solutioning and/or design role within healthcare technology sectors preferably Life Sciences.
- Strong design thinker with the ability to anticipate future client needs and develop solutions.
- Knowledge and demonstrated success with fundamental user experience design and research principles to create data products that delight clients.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You are a problem solver who is able to navigate complex and challenging situations and overcome them by identifying opportunities & managing risk.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of data solution/design within healthcare technology including
- Author clear and concise requirements for data engineers
- Research and develop data products/solutions with little or no support
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral that describe the solution/design
- 3 years of advanced SQL programming and analytic experience (e.g. persistency compliance targeting/site selection missing data imputation outcomes research healthcare economics patient journey machine learning outlier detection winsorizing)
- Deep understanding of healthcare data structures (e.g. claims remittance EMR registry chargemaster lab preauthorizations and SDOH) and data warehousing practices
- Track record of using clinical data to solve challenges preferably within Life Sciences.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in an external customerfacing role with a focus on realworld data.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. MBA Healthcare Informatics Computer Science) including courses in statistics public health and/or epidemiology
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $annual bonus opportunity.
Hiring Locations
Our main office is located in Center City Philadelphia where we operate on a hybrid model with inoffice work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles we also hire from hub locationsregions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home we bring them together in person at lease once a year for teambuilding collaboration and strategic planning.
Due to tax and labor regulations we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
