Corporate Finance Associate Financial Analyst
As an Associate Financial Analyst in Fidelity Investments you are a critical part of a team responsible for the delivery of accurate high quality financial information to team members managers and business partners. You are responsible for producing standard financial reports and other documents and analysis that support the overall Finance function in achieving our strategic and business goals.
THE SKILLS YOU BRING
- Rising seniors pursuing a bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a similar field
- Interest and/or experience with financial modeling
- Strong proficiency with Excel (Vlookups pivot tables)
- Thorough understanding of financial principles and systems
- Selfstarter and great teammate who works collaboratively to achieve the teams overall goals and objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to influence others across the company and build relationships
- Ability to innovate and understand the importance of operational improvement and time management
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Preparation of reporting for numerous Fidelity business partners including analysis and support
- Perform monthend reporting across multiple product lines and businesses for drivers and metrics such as sales activity transaction detail conversions / deconversions and future dedications.
- Preparing daily weekly and monthend operational reports evaluating and analyzing variances to previous periods budget and forecast
- Working proactively and reciprocally with finance partners to analyze opportunities to migrate reporting to a selfservice platform. You will be partnering with businesses to ensure the information provided through reporting tools presentations and other communications provides the targeted answers to the pertinent questions/initiatives
- Ensuring accurate controls documentation and reviews are in place to alleviate risks
- Assist with adhoc analysis reports and presentation materials in support of senior management
