Job Description
We are looking to hire two full time security officers in Plattsburgh NY. The pay rate for both positions is $18.00 an hour. Reliable transportation is needed due to the bus schedules not aligning with the work schedules.
One position is Sunday and Monday from:00pm to 12:00am) and Wednesday and Thursday from:00am to 8:00am) for a total of 32 hours a week. The second position is Friday through Tuesday from:00am to 8:00am) for a total of 40 hours a week.
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises and residents. This role involves providing excellent customer service monitoring security systems and addressing security concerns promptly. Responsibilities: Conduct hourly 20minute walking tours to monitor the premises. Report suspicious activity and notify law enforcement of illegal substances. Monitor CCTV footage for security issues. Write clear reports on incidents and resident complaints. Work collaboratively with staff and residents to maintain a safe environment. Skills and Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to identify security risks. Experience with CCTV monitoring is a plus. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Prior security experience is preferred but not required.
