Please note definition differences between Intern and Coop:

Intern: Student works fulltime during the summer

Coop: Student works parttime while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.

Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a CoOp to join Connections Category team within Core Purchasing. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and actiondriven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Support buyers with data analytics and support to refresh and improve existing Excel based templates
• Support subassembly team to build improved categorization and tracking of cable/cable components to aid in cost engineering
• Support departmental tracking of cost savings ideas tracking actual performance against forecast. Support updates to the buyers related to performance against plan

What you will bring to the table:

• Enrollment in a 4year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship/coop targeting
• Pursing a bachelors or masters degree in Supply Chain Management Businessor related field
• Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
• Ability to commit to a minimum of two semesters
• Effective analytical and problemsolving skills
