Job Description
GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a locally owned and operated modular construction company 20 minutes outside of Salem OR.
This position is responsible for constructing building modules using subassemblies fabricated by other crews within the Framing Department. It must perform functions in a safe manner ensuring efficient use of time and materials while honoring Blazers commitment to quality workmanship.
Job Duties
Assemble subassemblies per construction blueprint (floors walls roofs etc.
Install specified blocking and strapping
Roof closeup
Install underlayment material and vinyl flooring as needed.
Crosstrain in other Framing areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Experienced in the operation and use of equipment fabrication of components and materials used by the Tiedown crew.
Must be able to read tape measure.
Ability to read construction drawings.
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to speak and understand the English language to conduct daily business (training safety job assignments etc..
Basic math skills.
