Job Description
The duties below are representative of the position and not intended to cover all of the duties performed. Teach classes as assigned from the regular curriculum 2. Assist in curriculum assessment revisions and new course development 3. Consult with students during regularly scheduled office hours 4. Maintain expertise in current teaching methodologies and curricula 5. Perform other professional duties as required by contract and general institutional needs
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Masters or above in geology geophysics earth sciences meteorology oceanography or paleontology OR Bachelors in geology AND Masters or above in geography physics or geochemistry OR the equivalent (see below) Demonstrated cultural competence sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff
