Main responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the MEA Academy implement a learning strategy that is aligned to the MEA regional and HUB business plans and Talent and Culture strategy ensuring consultation with key business stakeholders
- Provide support to lead a team of talent development professionals located across Turkey to deliver learning and talent development solutions with a key focus in MEA and drive an innovative blended learning approach that uses best practice methodology and technology
- Reporting to the Director of Academy & Talent Development MEA on delivery of the training strategy and associated metrics.
- Facilitate the adaptation of MEA APAC and global Accor programs to be tailored to suit the needs of the region and assist with the communication of needs of the region to the Vice President Learning and Talent Development MEA APAC
- Collaborate with peers in the development planning and of the strategic plan of the MEA APAC Academy; Undertake and review participant feedback from training sessions and take action to improve sessions.
- Utilise the learning management system to maintain accurate training records for all participants including assessments and providing feedback to participants in a manner that provides opportunity for personal growth and development
- Ensures the role is cost neutral through the recharging of training delivered; works with the Director of Academy & Talent Development MEA to develop career pathways through Top Line Training.
- Develop implement and manage regional talent development programs in consultation with the Director Accor Academy MEA.
- Contribute to the identification of development needs for General Managers and corporate office specialists in consultation with Director Accor Academy & Talent Development MEA
Financial Performance:
- Assist in the preparation and management of the Turkiye budget to achieve Academy revenue including forecasting spend to deliver cost neutral results
- Support the management of the MEA Academy team in the engagement of properties through the key account structure to increase upfront fee take up
- Consider the financial impact on Accor Academy for all activities and commitments
- Support the establishment of procedures processes and accurate information that support key financial objectives
- Coordinate the briefing and management of suppliers with clear objectives timeline budget parameters and outcomes required
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records of invoices and monthly expenditure with the assistance of the Turkiye Finance Team reporting any discrepancies or concerns to your leader.
Qualifications :
- Degree qualified Human Resources Adult Education or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a corporate environment working with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the design delivery and implementation of learning programs across a large organisation.
- Extensive previous experience managing budgets P&L and ROI
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the business including senior company leaders
- An ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Strong focus and passion for hotel operations; Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry
- Demonstrated ability to coach mentor develop and inspire teams. Confident and articulate communication negotiation relationship and networking skills
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications. Ability to think strategically and plan on a mid to long term scale; Strong personal integrity
- Entrepreneurial spirit with drive ambition and high level of energy. Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
- Ability to manage a highly complex global environment and span of control. Ability for innovation and strategic thinking; Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
