Job Description
We are seeking experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to repair our fleet of heavyduty diesel trucks in our Pineville NC repair facility. The successful Diesel Technician will have previous experience repairing class 8 diesel trucks.

What Were Looking For
- Must have strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Previous supervisory experience
- 35 years of experience repairing semi trucks or vac trucks
- Must have your own tools
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge and experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Should be flexible to do some traveling
Responsibilities:
- Supervise train and mentor a team of 57 diesel technicians performing maintenance and repairs on heavyduty trucks.
- Order parts and manage shop inventory
- Oversee repairs to ensure quality and that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Diagnoseand repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical problems on heavydutyvehicles.
- PerformPM services on medium/heavyduty vehicles
- PerformDOT annual inspections on heavyduty vehicles
- Diagnose and repair diesel enginestransmissions brakes electrical systems and other components of commercialvehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oilchanges filter replacements and fluid checks.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify anyissues or potential problems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment totroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines toensure a safe working environment.
- Document all maintenance and repair workaccurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with team members andmanagement regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at alltimes.
Compensation:
$33 $36/hr.

Shift:
Day shift Monday Friday. Lots of OT available overtime paid after 40 hours.
All successful mechanics will be subjected to a preemployment check which includes a criminal record check drug screen and MVR check.
