Psychiatrist Job Opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington DC
The newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center located in Washington DC is seeking a fulltime Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a fulltime employed physician position with a MondayFriday work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in adult inpatient services and consultative liaison coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admissions and discharges of patients in the inpatient setting.
- Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.
- Consultations across various hospital departments.
- Collaboration with Emergency Department Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) GWU Residents and Medical Students.
The position offers a competitive compensation package including a salary benefits and bonus incentives.
Ideal Candidate:
- BoardEligible or BoardCertified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists Nurse Practitioners (NPs) Therapists Registered Nurses (RNs) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Care Coordinators and Mental Health Workers.
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Boardeligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Licensure to practice in Washington DC or ability to obtain licensure.
- At least 45 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.
- Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.
