Job Description
- Use standard and specialized equipment to fabricate components and/or finished product.
- Modify and/or assemble parts to support internal or external customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and fabrication equipment.
- Assist with general facility related maintenance activities as needed.
- Troubleshoot and install 12volt electronic systems (telematics) in fleet vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Experience working with both standard and specialized equipment including but not limited to: Table Saw Drill Grinder Welding equipment Plasma Cutter and Metal Brake
- Follow OSHA and internal safety guidelines
- Demonstrate attention to detail with high quality focus
- Able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
- Flexible to changing requirements and/or job duties
- Able to meet schedules and deadlines
- Prioritize organization & general workspace housekeeping
- Proven demonstration of the values of Integrity Respect Hard Work and Safety First
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to bend kneel climb crouch reach overhead grasp push and pull
- Able to work in environments with varying temperatures
- Certification in welding soldering and/or metal operations
- Completion of a technical training program
- Experience or training in electrical and/or mechanical fleet or facility focused
- Forklift Certification
