Job Description

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector Identity & Access Management team you are part of an agile team that works to enhance design and deliver the software components of the firms stateoftheart technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team you execute software solutions through the design development and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product application or system while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Handson practical experiencedelivering system design application development testing and operational stability for enterprise scale applications
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Ability toarchitect & develop & present engineering solutionswithin and across products & technology teams with little to no oversight
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) specificallyJava Full stack
- Demonstrated handson experience inKubernetes (Containerization and orchestration)
- Experience working with terraform or similar declarativeInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such asCI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
- Ability to present andeffectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience inInfrastructure Architecturedesigns
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Knowledge of Multiple Cloud Platforms
- Knowledge in Event Driven Architectures
