Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Prepare tax and title documents.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Maintain a system to verify outofstate titles.
  • Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
  • Sign over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
  • Stay abreast of title regulations. Attend seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Prepares daily bank deposits
  • Answers incoming phone calls and communicates with callers in a professional friendly and efficient manner
  • Responsible for collection letters and garnishment documents to be filed with the Courthouse
  • Responsible for reconciling specific accounting reports (Weekly & Monthly)
  • Prepares payoff checks for tradeins
  • Assist in other office productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in oneonone situations to customers and other associates
  • Valid drivers license
  • Computer literacy and must be able to learn Company software
