A Homemaker provides essential household and personal support services to individuals who require assistance in maintaining a safe clean and comfortable living environment. This role involves performing housekeeping duties meal preparation shopping.
Responsibilities:
Household Management:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as dusting sweeping vacuuming and laundry.
- Change linens and maintain clean and organized living spaces.
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands.
- Dispose of trash and maintain sanitary conditions
Meal Preparation & Nutrition Support:
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor food and kitchen supplies ensuring freshness and proper storage.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcareor inhome care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
