THE ROLE:

- FLSA Status: Hourly NonExempt
- Shift: 2ndShift
- Employment Category: FullTime Regular
- Pay Range: $21 $23/hr

WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The APEX Beverage Equipment Operator I will assist in all areas of the Beverage Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production needs with the supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work. The Equipment Operator must be willing and able to assist in operating the Beverage Plant equipment.
Monitor and log equipment values and parameters to include temperature and pressure gauges indicators and meters
Track correct materials for all production requirements
Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.
Complete changeovers CIPs PMs clean and sanitize tools/equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.
Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.
Cleaning lubricating and performing regular safety checks on equipment.
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Maintain activity logs
Trains new personnel on proper operational procedures
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven reliable work history
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Proactive mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision
- Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
- Proven experience operating machinery
- Mechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools
- Ability to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systems
- Experience conducting quality tests and analyzing data
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to two years experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred
- Forklift certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Environmental exposure to wet and humid conditions
- Material exposure moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.
- Occasional exposure to fumes airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to lift/pushpull/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures 34F degrees or below)
- Environmental exposure to wet and humid conditions
- Material exposure moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.
- Occasional exposure to fumes airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to lift/pushpull/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures 34F degrees or below)
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
- 2ndShift 2:00pm10:30pm) Monday through Sunday with rotating days off when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory
