A typical day in the life of a Nurse Practitioner includes:
- Collaborating with the center clinical staff in ourWorcester MA locations (Lincoln Street and Greenwood Street) toensure patientcare.
- Providing treatment of illnesses and injuries; order labs and other diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for children and adults.
- Demonstrating the ability to assess plan implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients.
- Performing common urgent care procedures such as wound repair abscess drainage splinting EKG and XRay interpretation.
Education & Experience:
- Masters degree and Certification
- Current NP State License in the center for which you are applying
- Experience as a provider in emergency medicine or urgent care
- Credentialed to see patients of all ages
- Active DEA license with no restrictions
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
Our centers are open 7 days per week 8AM to 8PM.
Fulltime employees must work three 12hourshifts per week with rotating weekends
Parttime employee must work two 12hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
Per Diem employees must work a minimum of three12hour shifts per month
