What Well Bring:

The Global Pricing Team is our team of subject matter experts on all things Pricing. The team helps TransUnion set our overall pricing strategy across our product portfolio in partnership with our Solutions Team as well as supporting pricing on our larger and more strategic deals in partnership with Sales and Industry Verticals. Underpinning these efforts is a wealth of data which enables reporting analysis and insight and processes that enable our team to scale with the business and operate efficiently.

Reporting to the VP of Global Pricing this role is responsible for overseeing pricing decisions and outcomes for TransUnions largest clients in US Markets. The Director Strategic Pricing will manage a small and growing team and work with Sales Industry Vertical leaders Finance and Solutions to tames to drive commercial outcomes that are good for TransUnion and its clients.

What Youll Bring:

  • 10 years of experience in a Commercial Pricing role within a value based B2B environment (preferably within Financial Services Technology or Data)
  • Fouryear accredited college degree required. MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering initiatives with a material impact on a business commercial performance
  • Rational curiosity and initiative to build deep understanding of TU International business and strategy.
  • Ability to translate and implement business strategy into commercially / financially viable operational plans
  • Exceptional technical proficiency in B2B Pricing financial review and modelling and data manipulation.

  • Selfdirected with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities meet strict deadlines take verbal direction and perform with minimal guidance or supervision
  • Ability to adjust to frequently changing priorities and fastpaced environments and drive team towards results
  • Strong project management skills attention to detail and bias towards
  • Exceptional content writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with analytics/visualization tools (Excel and Power BI; R Python and Alteryx a plus

Impact Youll Make:

LEADERSHIP:

  • Partner effectively across the organization with Sales Industry Verticals Solutions and Finance to ensure good commercial outcomes for TransUnion and our clients.
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities for incremental revenue working in partnership with the Pricing Strategy Team Industry Verticals and Sales.
  • Work with the VP of Global Pricing to develop better visibility of pricing decisions and a higher degree of capabilities around deal structuring and pricing.

PRICING

  • Lead deal structuring and pricing decisions for new business and renewals for TransUnions largest and most strategic clients in US Markets
  • Establish methodologies and frameworks and a commercial toolkit for approaching big deals and renewals automating where appropriate
  • Proactively target incremental revenue at renewal by analytically identifying opportunities and working in partnership with Industry Verticals and Sales on .
  • Ensure effective measurement of desired commercial outcomes working with our Pricing Data team
  • Provide appropriate training and coaching on commercial concepts approaches and for Sales and Industry Vertical Teams.
  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist for Pricing staying informed of new and innovative pricing strategies approaches techniques technologies and ways of working.

TEAM:

  • Instill a culture built on driving material and measurable impact from pricing (including increases in prices volumes winrate cost efficiency) while maintaining focus on longer term strategies and market share.
  • Manage a growing team of experienced pricing professionals
  • Build develop coach and motivate associates to ensure a highperforming pricing team

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as inperson at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150100.00 $225000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience jobrelated skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular fulltime nonsales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for longterm incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
