You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position.Become part of a physician led 550 provider multispecialty group with a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care. This fullspectrum general surgery practice offers rewarding surgery opportunities including robotics endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. This practice is a blend between elective and acute care surgery. The Practice is in a clinic space just 5 years old located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa (SAMCNampa) the new hospital building 5 years old). SAMCNampa is a Level III Trauma Center with 106 beds with 6 operating suites plus endoscopy stateoftheart digital environment and pioneering technologies including advanced imaging capabilities and awardwinning clinical services. General Surgery Nampa with Outreach to OntarioStatus: Full Time Schedule: Traditional work week MF with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time includes clinic procedures & consults. Call: 7 days/month including one weekend Salary & Benefits:Signon IncentivesStudent Loan RepaymentRelocationPTO & CME AllocationMalpractice Insurance (Incl. Tail)Health/Dental/Vision Retirement 403b) RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program.Board certification through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.Strong consideration will be given to candidates with expertise Minimally Invasive Surgery.Candidate must have exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills to contribute toward building a cohesive and supportive culture in the practice and the operating room.
