Job Description
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Albany New York. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 10 years of experience in litigation preferable but not necessarily in construction law including drafting and negotiating contracts and handling disputes mediation arbitration and litigation. This is a great opportunity for an attorney to lead our firms construction law department after the retirement of our current department head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review construction contracts.
- Represent clients in construction disputes including litigation arbitration and mediation.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda pleadings and legal opinions.
- Collaborate with other attorneys on constructionrelated cases.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
- 310 years of experience practicing construction law or litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
