Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Kingston to assist with the appointment of a Commercial Lead on a Permanent basis highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 57663..00 per Annum
Summary:
The Royal Borough of Kingston is seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Lead IT and Digital to shape and deliver the Councils Digital & IT strategy in relation to procurement contracts negotiations and supplier management. You will lead commissioning efforts for IT services across Kingston and Sutton drive commercial performance and ensure value for money through innovative and compliant practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement strategy negotiations and supplier management for all Digital & IT contracts.
- Drive delivery of the Digital & IT Service Plan and category management across Kingston and Sutton Councils.
- Oversee and manage contract performance ensuring optimal value from commissioned services.
- Lead market engagement assess trends and shape commissioning to align with service priorities.
- Ensure all Digital & IT purchases represent needbased qualitydriven and costeffective decisions.
- Manage strategic relationships with service providers driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on commercial performance and VFM (Value for Money) outcomes.
Qualification:
- Holds a minimum of CIPS Level 3 qualification or equivalent 5 years in IT procurement.
