Job Description
Brackenberry is seeking qualified and compassionate Care Workers to provide highquality support to individuals in residential care supported living or home care settings. You will assist with personal care daily living activities and emotional support ensuring service users live with dignity and independence.
Rate of Pay: 14 26 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mobility and transfers using hoists and other aids
- Provide personal care (washing dressing toileting grooming)
- Support meal preparation feeding and hydration
- Administer or assist with medication (if trained)
- Encourage social activities and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records and reports
- Ensure safeguarding and follow care plans
- Perform household tasks (cleaning laundry shopping)
- Work alongside healthcare professionals and families
Mandatory Requirements:
- Previous care experience (at least 6 months preferred)
- Care Certificate OR NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and essential trainings.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Manual Handling First Aid and Safeguarding Training
