Job Description
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses such as Selling Negotiations Sales Leadership. Depending on qualifications there will be an opportunity to add more specialized courses to the curriculum. The regular teaching load at HPU is three fourcredithour courses per semester on a 9month contract with the opportunity for summer teaching. In addition the successful candidate will have additional administrative responsibilities such as academic advising.
Essential Qualifications:

- A commitment to quality teaching professional growth and university service
- 10 years of Professional Sales experience
- Universitylevel teaching experience is preferred but not required
Education:
- A masters degree in business or other relevant major with extensive professional experience 10 years) in professional Sales and Sales Leadership.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with colleagues across campus for curriculum design and delivery
- Provides mentorship and advisement for students
- Communicates teaching and researches activities through frequent and effective communication with the department chair
- Maintains a professional development program or active research
- Acts as a representative and advocate for the program school and the university
- Actively participates in committees within the department school and university in professional and governmental organizations
- Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department chair
