Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School in Northeast Seattle is seeking a dedicated and passionate 5th Grade Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who fosters a love for learning integrates faith into the curriculum and creates a welcoming classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of our students. Key Responsibilities:

Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects including Math Language Arts Science Social Studies and Religion aligned with Catholic teachings and academic standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages respect collaboration and a love of learning.
Assess and monitor student progress providing timely feedback and differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues parents and administration to enhance student learning and development.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience.
Prepare students for academic transitions by developing critical thinking problemsolving and study skills.
Participate in school events professional development and faculty meetings.
Uphold and model Catholic values in all interactions with students parents and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Valid Washington State Teaching Certification or ability to obtain one.
Experience teaching at the elementary level preferably in a Catholic or private school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School.
Ability to integrate faith and learning in meaningful ways.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for instruction and student engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in differentiated instruction and assessment.
Familiarity with curriculum development and studentcentered learning approaches.
Passion for fostering a holistic educational experience including spiritual social and emotional development.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $45000 $86000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
