JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a CNC Machinist who is ready to take the initiative in a fastpaced environment.
The focus of this job is on producing highquality detailed work based on established standards guidelines and procedures. Working at a steady even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work to meet exacting customer standards is very important to this role.
A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to follow procedures to facilitate the production of highly accurate machined parts is required to be successful in this role.
Duties
Perform machining operations watch for problems in the production process and check the accuracy of the finished parts against drawings using calibrated measuring tools.
Processes shall include; setup machines understand CNC programs inprocess inspection able to utilize inspection equipment understanding the basics of drawing interpretation.
The ability to read and understand customer part drawings and tolerancing schemes (GD&T).
Able to maintain quality management in compliance with ISO 9001/2015.
Partner with the leadership team to determine cost saving opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Certification in CNC machining or 2 years of experience
2 or more years experience operating a CNC machining center in a job shop/ production environment.
Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally in person.
Selfstarter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to priority shifts.
