The Wake Forest Health Network Pulmonology Catawba practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonologist to join our thriving communitybased practice in Hickory North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to provide highquality pulmonary care in a collaborative and patientcentered environment. Our practice manages a broad range of pulmonary conditions including COPD asthma interstitial lung disease and sleep disorders with access to advanced diagnostics and multidisciplinary support. Whether youre an experienced physician or a recent graduate this position offers the ideal balance of clinical excellence worklife balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. Highlights:
- 100 outpatient care role
- Fulltime providers work 36 patientfacing hours and 4 administrative hours
- Office hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm
- 4.5day workweek with one afternoon for administrative work
- Affiliation with Frye & Catawba hospitals
- Call rotation with Internal Medicine: one night per week and every 7th weekend
- Strong community relationships and excellent administrative support
Physician Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
- Board Certification in Pulmonology from said residency.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing required
