Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings including skilled nursing & assisted living facilities outpatient clinics hospitals and home health environments. This role involves assessing patients physical conditions developing personalized treatment plans and providing handson therapy to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. A strong background in orthopedics geriatrics and medical terminology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients strength flexibility and mobility.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans exercises and home care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
  • Provide support for patients recovering from surgeries or injuries

Requirements

  • Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Texas license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer and EMR used in job functions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to providing highquality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
  • A selfstarter with a mindset for achieving growth and success
