Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduatelevel statistics/mathematics courses creating and supervising academic opportunities for students beyond the classroom and contributing to the department through service.
We welcome candidates who demonstrate the potential for excellent undergraduate teaching; a desire to be an active citizen in the department; a commitment to or interest in the liberal arts; a desire to engage students outside the classroom in activities such as undergraduate research service projects or internships; and readiness to develop and/or implement pedagogies that promote the learning of students of all backgrounds.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Statistics or Mathematics or a closely related field is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor until a Ph.D. is obtained.
