While most Network partners hire new graduates into Xray roles and then train for advanced modalities some locations offer direct entry into advanced modalities. In addition we welcome your application if you are seeking a sonography or nuclear medicine position! All partners require either existing certification or eligibility to become certified by the professional organizations for these modalities (most commonly ARDMS or NMTCB). RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST JOB DESCRIPTION:
Radiology Technologists willdemonstrateprogressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department.
Theyoperatea variety of xray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist supervisor and lead technologists.
Our Xray Techsassistin the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed.
Radiologic Technologists maybe requiredto work a variety of shifts at multiple campuses weekends holidays and takecallon a rotational basis.
RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PREEMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JRCERT.
Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York topractice inRadiology prior to start date.
ARRT Certification will berequiredas well.
