Overnight Veterinary Technician ICU
Fulltime: Overnight Sunday 7pm7:30am and 2 other weeknight shifts
Parttime also available: Overnight Sunday 7pm7:30am

Heart of Texas is looking for an Overnight Vet Tech to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
As a Vet Tech youll play an important role in pets lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your lifechanging work will range from the handson care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to surgery assistance to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities:
Emergency Veterinary Technicians perform a variety of animalhealth duties and ensure quality pet and client care. The Emergency Technician should be proficient in duties including but not limited to: client care and communication efficient patient assessments quick response to emergency patient monitoring venipuncture Iv catheter placement patient recovery anesthetic monitoring diagnostic imaging and medical math.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Strong veterinary skills
- Able to appropriately handle animals
- Able to assist in veterinary medical procedures
- Recent experience in a veterinary practice
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years recent experience in veterinary practice
- Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Veterinary Technician license is preferred
- previous emergency experience preferred but not required
