Job Description
The Department of Neurology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting an academic Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our Neuropsychology team. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for an individual at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Position Highlights:
- Neuropsychology Team: Join a dynamic team of three adult neuropsychologists two pediatric neuropsychologists a health psychologist several psychometrists neuropsychology fellows and office support staff.
- Primary Responsibility: Provide neuropsychological assessments and treatment to patients with various neurological conditions including stroke MS TBI epilepsy dementia cancer and movement disorders.
- Clinical Focus: Dedicated time in the Cancer & Cognition Clinic as well as participation in the Movement Disorder and Inpatient NeuroRehabilitation teams.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other specialties and disciplines within the department facility patients and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervision: Supervise neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows and collaborate with advanced graduate students.
- Research Opportunities: Robust opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with the academic community.
Qualifications:
- PhD/PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Completion of predoctoral internship and twoyear postdoctoral fellowship training in neuropsychology
- ABPP certified or eligible (Clinical Neuropsychology)
- Preference is given to an adult focused clinician with training or experience in neurooncology movement disorders and/or inpatient rehabilitation
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
