Job Description

Primary Accountabilities/Functions:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Supervise mentor and develop production employees ensuring adherence to safety protocols operating procedures and quality standards. Conduct 306090day evaluations facilitate training and drive employee engagement and performance improvement.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety environmental and compliance regulations are met in accordance with OSHA EPA and company policies. Conduct safety talks incident reviews and risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Production Oversight & Optimization: Monitor batch operations and chemical production processes to ensure efficiency quality control and adherence to production schedules. Identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies using root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Process & Quality Control: Conduct audits track key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with crossfunctional teams including maintenance logistics customer service and finance to ensure seamless operations. Implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Shift Management & Communication: Lead shift handoffs and ensure seamless communication between teams. Work closely with maintenance and production staff to address any operational challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 35 years of supervisory experience preferably in batch chemical processing or manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes industrial production and process optimization preferred
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) ISO 9001 standards and OSHA compliance
  • Strong technical proficiency in SAP Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Ability to analyze production data identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Selfmotivated flexible individual with excellent organizational problemsolving and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work in outside environment climb stairs wear fullface respirator and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must have the ability to work in nonclimatecontrolled environments for extended periods of time
