Job Description
Summary
- New increased shift differentials!
Performs the function of a Patient Care Technician in carrying out all assignments under the direction of an RN in the Inpatient Units and Emergency Department. Is accountable for all patient care he/she gives in the unit assigned/scheduled. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of Nursing Practice and for promoting teamwork among colleagues through collaboration and respect.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education:High school graduate
- Preferred Education:
- Completion of nursing assistant certification training and competency exams as approved by the State Board of Health.
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals Course EMT Course or Medical Assistant Course.
- Minimum Experience:
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective customer service
- Computer keyboard skills
- Preferred Experience:One year of healthcare experience preferred
- Certifications Required:Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Certifications Preferred:Certified Nursing Assistant Certified Medical Assistant or EMT Certification
