Job Description
Who We Are Looking For:
Are you the Occupational Therapist we have been looking for In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!
This position requires travel between two of our programs Journey Home and Lindencroft 20 hours at each location).Journey Home is an intensive group home setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Lindencroft is a group home treatment setting for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care and specializes in youth at risk or victims of CSEC. Both programs provide 24hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff nursing staff and direct care staff.
Salary Starting: $66000
This position requires travel between two of our programs located in Berkley MA and Attleboro MA.
JRI Provides The Training So That:
- YOU will be able to provide OT services while developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with clinicians by selecting therapeutic activities designed to achieve therapeutic goals for our students such as; selfcare and wellness independent life skills and sensory modulation etc. as well as activities of daily living
- YOU will be able to provide documentation on service recipients treatment plans progress and evaluation results per OT policy to provide information concerning content and effectiveness of Occupational Therapy treatment recommend additional interventions as indicated.
- YOU will be able to create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students in developing and by role modeling effective strategies.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Masters Degree and licensure in Occupational Therapy required.
- Experience working with families children and adolescents preferred.
- Maintains valid drivers license as transporting clients is required.
- Available to work evenings holidays weekend shifts as required.
- At JRI you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal deescalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!
