Job Description
- Clean and maintain common areas and office space
- Work with the members of the maintenance team to maintain the rental units and facilities.
- Accept directions and respond positively to training as it relates to custodial work plumbing carpentry electrical and other trades related activities.
- Utilize webbased software OneSite to retrieve assignments and document their completion.
- Work outdoors during inclement weather snow removal salting etc.
- Attend all training as required by DHSC and participate in cross training of jobs as required by supervisor or management.
- Maintain a positive behavior and attitude consistent with membership in a faithbased organization
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers clients coworkers external colleagues and management
- Ability to operate all necessary hand tools to make repairs
- Ability to kneel crouch climb crawl etc. to reach items for repairs
- Ability to utilize mobile phone for webbased software
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Must have a valid drivers license in good standing valid auto insurance and dependable personal vehicle
- Must have the ability to work with Senior Citizens lowincome families and disabled population
- Must be willing between sites as required
- Must be willing to accept training related to maintenance operations Fair Housing laws REAC inspections and other as requested
- High School Graduate
- Training or experience as custodian or tradesrelated
- OSHA Safety training
