Job Description
InGenesis is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our client. In this role you will be performing skilled nursing duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Montana
Job Duties:
- Completes routine (weekly/monthly) nursing assessments.
- Performs emergency/first aid treatment to injured residents.
- Performs routine treatments to residents.
- Draws blood and performs minor laboratory tests.
- Administers oxygen and breathing treatments.
- Administers medications and monitors medication effects. Identifies possible drug allergies and interactions.
- Maintains an accurate count of controlled medications.
- Oversees and directs care provided by resident care aides during shift.
- Notes subjective resident complaints and objective observations of the residents condition.
- Provides a complete shifttoshift report.
- Assists physicians in routine rounds.
